Hi, I'm Nick!

I'm a minister, accountant, photographer, and author based in Nashville, Tennessee and occasionally Paris, FR.

I'm a graduate of Belmont University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Biblical Studies and a Master of Accountancy. My academic background reflects two interests that have shaped much of my professional and ministerial work: understanding Scripture and understanding how organizations operate.

I began preaching in 2017 and was ordained to Christian ministry in 2023. Alongside my ministerial responsibilities, I've worked in accounting, financial management, and organizational consulting, primarily serving nonprofit organizations. My calling to ministry has also led me to support several churches through financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.

These experiences have given me the opportunity to observe leadership from several perspectives, including the pulpit, the finance office, and the meeting rooms where important organizational decisions are made.

Outside of ministry and accounting, I have a passion for photography and documenting the people, places, and traditions that shape our communities. That interest inspired Church Folks, a documentary project exploring the food, fellowship, and cultural traditions of the Black church. Through photography and storytelling, I hope to preserve the experiences and traditions that have shaped generations of Black church life.

My debut collection, Committed to Completion, examines the book of Nehemiah through two complementary volumes. The Sword is a 52-day devotional focused on biblical reflection and spiritual development, while The Trowel explores the leadership principles and practical challenges illustrated throughout Nehemiah's account.

Through my writing, I hope to encourage thoughtful engagement with Scripture and offer practical insight for the responsibilities we encounter in ministry, professional life, and our communities.
